Morgan ate a couple bites of craisins (dried cranberries) and all of her oatmeal at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her ground hamburger and seconds on both applesauce and macaroni and peas with parmesan.
Morgan has finally figured out how to crawl up on the couch by herself. The circumstances have to be just right -- the right spot on the couch where it it a tiny bit lower, leg stretched about as far as it can go, no one else around to interfere and her mood and will being just right so she can work at it long enough to make it without getting frustrated. : )
Morgan was standing on top of the soft climber today moving her hands in the "come here" motion to Emily who was at the bottom of the steps. It really looked like she was inviting her to come join her. It was extremely cute. Emily looked like she was going to try it, but got distracted along the way and didn't make it.
At the end of breakfast today Morgan did both "all done" the motion and said, "Ahh duh!" It was cute! That is the first time I have ever heard her vocalize it! She is just moving by leaps and bounds right now! : )
Morgan was enjoying the puppets today, both when I was using them in the songs we were singing and also just on her own independently. She kept putting different ones on her hand or arm and walking around with a big grin on her face. Then when I was singing different songs about whatever puppet I was using (such as 'Mary had a little lamb' with the lamb puppet) Morgan was right there close wanting to be involved.
In the back room she was bringing different masks for me to put on her then immediately heading for the mirror to check and see how it looked. We did at least four or five.

Morgan ate all of her blueberry bread pudding (or cake, as we called it) and several blueberries at breakfast. That is a first. She must have ate 6-8 of them. At lunch she ate about half of her kiwi, most of her green beans and all of her turkey burger on a bun.
Morgan has been wanting in and out of the 'box' multiple times a day. She goes over to it and puts one leg up and over it (just barely) then she turns around and looks at me, either fussing or saying her "yaunt-yaunt" for "help me". If I help her in, Connor almost always is right there climbing in to be with her, which she really likes.
Morgan brought over a cowboy hat for me to put on her. I did and she actually left it on and walked around with it on for a while. It looked really cute!
Almost every day Morgan spends minutes several times a day looking at herself in the mirror, talking to herself or playing peek-a-boo type games. It is great. She obviously likes what she sees because she is always grinning really big.
She was pretty screamy (both happy and unhappy) today. We had to remind her several times to say "Wow!" when excited and "help me" when getting frustrated or upset. All but one times she did great with that when reminded. For getting up early, she actually did really well! Only one minor melt-down and that was it!

Morgan ate seconds on dried mango bits and toast with jelly at breakfast. At lunch she ate everything -- beef and bean burrito, home-made sweet potato fries and tropical fruit.
Morgan brought me one of the cow suits or one of the vests several times today. She makes it very clear what she is wanting. She will hand it to me, then turn around with her arm out to put in a sleeve. I think it is so cute!
Morgan brought a book over to the couch and actually said what sounded a lot like "up" twice today. It was a little more like "uck", but it wasn't hard to tell what she wanted.
Several times today I saw her kind of pulling her hair when she wasn't getting her way about something. She wasn't pulling hard enough to pull it out, but it was definitely pulling. For example, one of the times was when she wanted to ride on the rocking horse that one of the other kiddos was on. They were being pretty narrow minded about giving it up and it made her quite angry. She started yelling about it, then pulled her hair. When she started pulling her hair the yelling stopped -- got her own attention, maybe!
After the child got off of the horse, Morgan noticed immediately and went over got on (with no trouble) and spent a couple minutes rocking. She really likes the rocking horses and rocked on them multiple times. She is also getting the knack of getting on without getting stuck all the time, which is cool!
Morgan came over for loves when I was on the floor many times today. It is really cute because she doesn't want to be held, she just comes over and lays her head on me until I give her a hug, then she is off playing again! : ) What a sweetheart!

Morgan ate a taste of her dried plums and thirds on cinnamon roll at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of her cantaloupe and all of her hashbrowns, scrambled eggs and waffles.
Morgan rode on the rocking horses several times today. She got her leg stuck at the tail area about half the time, but all but a couple times I was able to talk her through it without her getting so frustrated that she either was beside herself or gave up. One of the times, Bode also helped her get it up and over, which she loved!
When Connor came he and Morgan played a chase and kiss or love game for a couple minutes. One would chase the other trying to give them loves or kisses then they switched and the other was the chaser. It was pretty funny, because it was going both ways!
Morgan has been doing such a good job of listening when we say her name! She is also doing great with following directions with things like taking the books back to the book rack when she is done, finding another toy when she is trying to take a toy out of one of the kiddos hands and those types of things. There is a big difference just between last week and this!
Morgan has been "talking" on the telephones very frequently throughout the day with this set. These phones are the ones that have the buttons that make the different phone call type sounds and she really seems to like them. She will jabber then listen then jabber again. It is pretty cute! : )
I have been asking her to say "Help me" frequently when she is wanting something, beginning to get frustrated and so forth. She almost always makes the same sound -- kind of a "yaunt-yaunt". One time she even made the sound BEFORE I reminded her to say "help me" so I do think she is getting it.
