Morgan ate thirds on both malt-o-meal and raisins at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of her mixed fruit and all of her chopped salad with ranch dressing and her spaghetti.
Morgan had a pretty good blowout right before nap -- it might have been all of the raisins (not sure if they would have gone through her quite that fast or not!). It was a mess and she was a little sore, so I lotioned her up.
Morgan had three pretty good tantrums this morning, but really did pretty good other than that! The first one was kind of funny because Gary just instructed her to do something that she didn't want to do (obviously) and she plopped herself down on her bottom hard, bent over forward with her face to the floor and lay there literally for a solid 3 minutes before wiping it up and going on her merry way!
I have noticed that Morgan has been testing the listening expectations again this week (especially the last couple days). I will say her name and she just keeps walking away from me, bopping the kiddos on the head, chewing on the book... I have had to really enforce requiring her to listen by turning her around to look at me, "helping" her take the book our of her mouth, give a gentle touch, walk over to me... It is kind of funny because she was doing REALLY good with it for a while and since she had been a little moody this week, it seems like the ignoring has really picked back up too.
Morgan was actually saying "uh plea" for "Up please" today several times when she wanted either up on the couch or on my lap. That is the first time that it sounded pretty representational. She was really "reading" the books today also. She was verbalizing quite loudly as she looked at the book and turned the page. I have seen her looking at books a lot, but I think this is the first time I really saw her concentrating on vocalizing at that level with them.
Morgan kept bringing me one of the babies today. First of all she had a blanket that she wanted me to help her wrap it up with, then she had a bottle to help her feed it with, then she just kept bringing her over and I would give the doll a love then hand it back. She must have repeated that at least 6 times. It was really cute.

Morgan ate bites of her blueberries and seconds on cinnamon raisin english muffins at breakfast. At lunch she ate most of her cherries, all of her potato salad and seconds on canned chicken on saltines.
Morgan was very sensitive today -- fussing or crying about very minor things that usually don't bother her (stumbling against the book rack on the way by, landing on her bottom when she fell...). It didn't take much. one of the times that she was sitting on the floor crying bode went over to her and was comforting her. She leaned right into him and put her arms around him to get his loves. It was very sweet. He asked her, "What wrong? What you bumped, Morgie?" She started chuckling then -- happy that he cared! : )
Jadey was playing with a toy and dropped it (or put it down on purpose -- not sure). Morgan saw it, went over and picked it up and followed after her saying, "here Jadey!" quite plainly. She said it three or four times.
We got down the magna doodles for the kiddos to draw with today and Morgan kept pointing up to where they were, showing us that she wanted to do it too. We decided to let her try and she did a great job. She and Jadey were sitting at the little picnic table to do it. Other than trying to write on Jadey's once in a while, she did excellent! : )
Morgan was boing pretty goofy today. She was intentionally bonking her head on first the big room window and then the wall by the box. She would bonk and then look around to see who was watching, smiling and/or laughing at her. She really liked it when Bode was laughing at her and telling her, "Don't bonka head, Morgie!" That just encouraged her and she laughed and kept it up even more.

Morgan ate all of her peaches and thirds on biscuit for breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of her pineapple, bites of her dinner roll, about half of her steamed broccoli and all of her baked beans.
Morgan was very grabby and whiney when I tried to redirect her to others toys that no one was playing with first thing this morning. She just melted down, so I put her in the box until she settled down (a few seconds and up until a couple minutes). After having to do it 4 times in 10 minutes, she did much better and I really had little trouble with it the rest of the day (so far).
She was really enjoying experimenting with putting (or trying to put) all kinds of different toys into the play cup she was using. When she got something to go in, she was laughing.
We got out the 9 foot long "tunnel" today for them to crawl through -- looking for something a little different to shake things up some. The bigger kiddos went crazy race crawling though it over and over. Morgan always hung back a little and waited until there was quite a bit of space. She did end up going through it three times and seemed to really to enjoy it.
Morgan was so cute today. She kept bringing me things to help her with and then chuckling when I did help her. It could be wrapping her baby, putting on one of the vests, helping her get the cowboy boots on her arms... It didn't matter she just was thrilled. She also imitated my "thank you"s with a "ay-hew" several times.
Even though Morgan did much better today than yesterday, she went to sleep immediately at nap time today!

Morgan ate about half of her hashbrowns and seconds on waffles at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of her orange slices, most of her shrimp and about half of both her rice and her sautéed peppers.
Morgan had rough morning, which made me wonder if she had not slept well or as much last night. She was grabbing toys from the other kiddos (or trying) frequently and then having mini tantrums when they wouldn't give them up. She was also doing some hitting at or of the children (even little Emily and Kenzie), which is unusual. Her overall mood was quite fussy. She really hasn't had a morning like this since we talked (maybe at our parent meeting, I'm not sure.)
She did play some interspersed among the outbursts. She rode on horses, carried around baby dolls and looked at books. In the back rooms she was really trying to make the little push and spin toys go fast. You push on the knob of the top and it makes the bottom part (with bead deals and other stuff) so around and make sound.
I thought she would go right to sleep (assuming the crankiness was related to being tired), but it about 45 minutes or so before she was asleep. She did end up sleeping for almost 2 hours though.

Morgan ate all of her banana and seconds on cheerios at breakfast. At lunch she ate most of her apple slices, tomato soup (drank) and had seconds on grilled cheese sandwich.
Morgan was putting one of the play cups over he mouth and making sounds into it. Jadey was watching her and grinning right in front of her. Morgan took it off of her mouth and shared with Jadey -- held it right up to Jadey's mouth to have a turn. Jadey really liked that and it was very precious.
Morgan was being kind of screechy (mostly happy) this morning so we were working on having her make the "wow" sound. It is a pretty easy one for them to pick up on. Every time she would screech or even start getting that excited we would say "wow wow wow" several times. She was started to pick up on it by the end of the morning. It actually sounds more like, "ow ow ow", but... Good enough! : )
Morgan had her own personal helper (almost to servant point, but not quite) here. Bode is very in tune with what she is wanting and is constantly helping her get her leg up over the horse, get the book out of the book rack that is stuck, help her or get us to help her get into the box when she wants to, find a toy like the toy she is trying to grab from one of the kiddos... Today he helped her three different times in a row and he came over to me just beaming saying, "I help Morgie!" It was really sweet! It's no wonder she likes him. He is very attentive.
Morgan loves to put the puppets on her hands and arms. Her favorite one is the floppy eared puppy. She sometimes gets it on by herself and others she brings it over for me to help her with. She also likes to bring me the cowboy boots that are out right now to put on her arms too. I guess she thinks they are puppets too! : )
