Morgan ate all of her dried plums and seconds on oatmeal at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her hamburger and hashbrown casserole and a bite of both her biscuit and her mandarin oranges.
Morgan climbed right into the block table shelf where the "peek-a-boo" blocks are stored. These are see through blocks with all kinds of different things inside for the kiddos to shake, look at, turn, squeak... Morgan was examining them one after another. When she finished with one she would put it over the back of her shoulder. It was pretty funny!
Morgan and Emily were working in cahoots to get one of the posters off today. They were both picking on the tape until they had one whole side loose. I had to re-tape it because they had destroyed it so much.
Morgan was so excited when she saw Gary was going across the street to take some mail over to send. She was about beside herself when she saw him walking back this way -- just squirming and squealing. He always plays with the kiddos through the window when he comes back. He said the expression on her face and her reactions were just adorable from the other side of the window!
Morgan's nose must have been stuffed up because she was "whistling" through it literally all morning long. I tried to clean it out, but the blockage was obviously up a ways because I couldn't even see it.
Morgan pointed to my shirt several times today and said, "Kitty" very plainly.

Morgan ate bites of her melon and seconds on french toast at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of her dried mangoes, about half of her crescent roll, all of her canned turkey and seconds on squash.
Morgan wanted a head band on today and was thrilled when I put it on. She went over to the gate to show Joslyn's mom and Gary after I put it on.
Morgan not only always remembers to brush her teeth after breakfast, but she also always has to race over to me after she is done announcing it! "Bruh-Tee, bruh-tee" until I applaud her and give her five. I think that is so cute!
Morgan was trying to stand on the big blocks like her big kiddo friends Cypress and Bode were doing. She toppled over backwards into the "box" and bonked the back of her head right behind the right ear on the box divider. She even let Gary cuddle her because I was in the middle of feeding baby Peyton.

Morgan ate bites of her mixed berries and seconds on whole wheat toast at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of kiwi, bites of sliced ham and seconds on beans from the bean soup and on saltines.
I don't know if you noticed or not, but Morgan was kind of distracted at the end of waving "bye" at you this morning. What she was doing and saying was "ishy-ishy" as she pointed at the tubular fish tank. She was wanting me to plug it in and wake up the fishies! : )
Morgan heard Bode and Everson talking about going to "make dinner" today and went racing over to the picnic table to sit down and be involved. They kind of got distracted for a little before following through with their idea, but Morgan sat there patiently waiting for them to bring her food. : )
It was warm enough that we went outside this morning also and it was great! Morgan was trying to do everything that the big kiddos were doing -- shooting hoops, playing catch, kicking the ball around, playing our stop sign game (kind of like red-light, green-light). IT was great!

Morgan ate most of her dried apricots and all of her whole wheat bagel at breakfast. At lunch she ate thirds on pea and pasta salad and all of her applesauce and baked tilapia fish.
Morgan watched as several of the bigger kiddos put on some of the dress up pajamas, clown suits or robed. She found a pair of PJs and brought them over to me, pointing to herself for me to help her put them on. I did and as soon as I got them on she went and got a blanket, handed it to me, went and lay down in front of me so I could cover her up. She is a smart little thing.
Morgan always listens and watches for someone to play like they are the "cook" then races over to the little picnic table and sits and waits for them to bring her some pretend food. She knows that they will wait on her if they are playing that way and she is there. Today Bode was cooking eggs and toast for them and Morgan was loving it.
Morgan was looking at the penguins on my shirt today and saying what sounded like, "kwa, kwa, kwa". I couldn't decide if it was like a duck "quack" or like a crow "Caw". Either way it was really cute!

Morgan ate a few of her dried craisins and seconds on bran flakes at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of her tropical fruit and all of her steamed cauliflower and cheese pizza.
Morgan was thrilled about the new toy exchange and also the pretend fish in the tube fish tank. She watched them off and on throughout the day.
As far as the toys go, she was playing with the toasters off and on throughout the morning. I worked with her several times to show her the routine for popping them up. She loves it when they pop up fairly quickly and high. She got so that she could do it on her own fairly often. When she had a hard time getting it to pop up she brought it over to me. Usually she just sat it down and waited for me to help her, then she started getting the hang of it more and doing it on her own.
Morgan was sitting on one of the steps with the dolly's blanket draped over the bottom half of her. She was acting like she was cold! : )
She was saying "Go? Go?" for "Where'd it go?" several times today when she would either accidentally or not so accidentally drop something.
