Morgan ate a bite of her dried plums and most of her oatmeal at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her hashbrown casserole, bites of her biscuit and a bite of mandarin oranges.
Morgan went over to the changing table before anyone else was even here yet and pointed to the place where I store the hair stuff, saying "Haeh" (hair) to let me know she wanted me to fix it. I then asked her if she wanted one or two and she instantly responded, "two". Of course, almost all kiddos this age will automatically say the last number or word you say when asked a question like that, but... I went with it anyway. ; )
Morgan came over to me and asked, "Foe? Foe?" (phone) then went over to the shelf and searched until she found one. She then "talked" on it for a couple minutes. She is really saying more and more words, which is awesome!
Morgie had a couple (3) melt-downs this morning, but all but one of them were short lived. I had hardly made it back out to the big room from her room before she had calmed down. The other one lasted several minutes (maybe 8 or so), but then she was fine again and that was the last one of the morning.
I get such a kick out of how much she and Joslyn love to watch Gary brush his teeth every morning. As soon as they realize what he is doing they race to the gate and just press into it to get as close as they can get. Granted it is pretty entertaining to see the white froth all around his mouth. He brushes his teeth very energetically (just like he does everything else!). : )
We drew with the magna doodles today and Morgan had fun with that. She kept trying to get out of her seat and carry it around to begin with, but changed her mind when I took it away and told her the only way she could play with it was to stay sitting.

Morgan ate all of her cantaloupe and seconds on french toast at breakfast. At lunch she ate several bites of turkey, about half of her dried mangoes and all of her crescent roll and squash.
Morgan was playing with one of the cameras for quite a while today. She kept pointing it in my direction and saying "Cheese" until I would say it and then she would grin at me. She did it to the kiddos a few times to, but I guess she mainly wanted pictures of me. : )
Morgan had another great day -- she didn't need to take a break at all and only had one reminded. : ) She is such a sweet and fun little girl and we just love taking care of her. That is part of why I just want to find a way to consistently help her with her frustrations and tantrums so they don't put it all in a negative shadow.
Emily had a crash today and Morgan was very concerned about it. She went over to her and was patting her and making soothing sounds. She then went over to the bench that caused the crash and was chewing it out. : )
Morgan was pretending to drink out of all of the ice cream cups and cones today. She kind of suctioned one of them on around her face for a couple seconds and thought that was funny. She obviously did it on accident, because it looked like she was trying to repeat the process, but with no luck.

Morgan ate all of her whole wheat toast and a couple berries at breakfast. At lunch she ate a taste of kiwi, all of her bean soup and her ham and thirds on crackers.
Morgan had a really big poop first thing in the morning. It was almost out at all sides of the diaper, but managed to stay contained somehow.
Morgan started getting frustrated several times today. Almost every time, Bode was close at hand and was right there to help her. I always think it is cool when a kiddo is tuned in to other kiddos that way. Several times, I didn't know what was bothering her, but Bode just seemed to sense it. Morgan also responded to him really well, so I am not sure if he always helped her with the right thing, but just trying to help her calmed her down. : )
Morgan brought over one of the dress-up rain coats today and I helped her put it on. As soon as I did, she raced over to the mirror to look and said, "So cu" (for so cute). She was really modeling it for herself, too, which made it even more cute.
Morgan was excited when Peyton got some floor time out with us this morning. She was handing her a couple toys and saying, "Ere go" (here you go) and smiling so big. Peyton rewarded her for her efforts with a huge smile back.

Morgan ate all of her whole wheat bagel with dried apricots at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her baked fish, seconds on applesauce and thirds on pea pasta salad.
Morgan had absolutely no meltdowns today and listened and cooperated so well today. One of the things I thought was so cute today was how enthusiastically she kept saying "Yeah!" when I asked her any question (about camping, what she was playing, if she was hungry or poopy... She was just very positive!
Another thing I got a kick out of today was how she would start to go to the 'other side' of the room, then stop look at gary or I and ask, "Uh side?" (for other side). It is SO cute! : )
Gary kind of strained his back when we were moving cubbies out and back in to the utility room (so we could paint the floor). He was laying on the floor with his legs up in the couch cushions. Morgan went over and lay by him and put her feet up on the couch also. It was so cute!
Morgan was thrilled with the toy exchange. She was very engaged and loved putting the hats and sunglasses on her face. She was also playing with the phones and kept talking into them and saying, "Hi muh!" I took that to either be "grandmuh? or "mum". No manner who it was, it was adorable.
