Morgan ate about half of her brown rice and raisins at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her dried apricots and meatloaf, most of her french bread and a couple bites of cooked carrots.
Morgan told me she was "tinky" not long after she got here this morning. Well, she hadn't pooped yet, so I asked her if she wanted to go poopy on the potty and she gave me an enthusiastic "Yeah!" I took her in and she sat there for a couple minutes with a big grin on her face. Every once in a while she would say, "It comin'" and strain a little. Ultimately no success and she was poopy within 20 minutes. But, that is a positive move, so we'll keep our eyes and ears open.
Later on Morgan cracked me up when she decided that someone was poopy and she went around to all of the kiddos asking, "Tinky?" and trying to peek down the back of their diaper. What a kiddo!
Morgan was playing at one of the little sinks today and Thomas made his way over to try to stand before her. She did a great job of using her words when he kind of pushed up against her. She said, "My turn... My turn..." until I could get over to help her out by moving him and distracting him with something else. That was pretty good!

Morgan ate all of her cinnamon toast and grapes at breakfast. At lunch she ate everything also. She was going to leave her cherries and I encouraged her to have her "big girl tasting bite", which she did willingly then ate them all up. We also had chicken strips, mashed potatoes and dinner roll.
Our daughter from Louisiana flew in on Tuesday evening and will be here until Saturday about noon. This morning she spent some time just hanging out in the big room with the kiddos. They all had to make sure to get some of her attention. All of the mobile kiddos were showing off today for her. They were spinning around in circles, falling down and just acting crazy in general.
Morgan had put together several of the smaller duplo pieces into a line that was about 4-5 inches long and was pretending it was her phone. She was talking into it and said, "Hi Grammy!" then jabbered some more about eating and "visit" and more that I couldn't understand. It was really cute.

Morgan ate about half of her whole wheat bagel and all of her peaches at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her macaroni and cheese, lettuce and tomato salad and corn (not on the cob).
Morgan has been wearing the little dress-up jean skirt around her neck like a necklace the last couple days. It is really funny. Today I asked her if it was her necklace and she answered "Yeah!" enthusiastically. It was great!
She found a couple of the lego chairs today and was sitting the little lego people in it and calling it "High Chair." At least this one is a chair rather than a mini pen.
It has been cracking me up how Morgan immediately asks for a "cole kwoff" (cold cloth) every time she gets any type of little tiny owie! It also is amazing how quickly she is okay as soon as she has her cold cloth.
Emily makes this little dolphin "heh-heh-heh-heh" sound and today she got 4 of the other kiddos, including Morgan doing it. It was really cute! Emily loved it that they were imitating her.
I was getting Joslyn's attention to come over so I could "test" something for her developmental checklist today, but Joslyn wasn't listening. Morgan stood in front of me, patted her leg, bent over slightly then called out, "Jozzy, come here!" several times like she was calling a misbehaving puppy or kitty. It just cracked me up.

Morgan ate all of her pears and about half of her blueberry muffin at breakfast. At lunch she ate most of her tuna and cracker and all of her orange slices and her sweet potatoes.
This morning Gary was holding Morgan up on the window sill for her to wave at Daddy. While they were waiting, Gary commented that her pony tails were cute. Morgan instantly said, "Daddy do it!" Later on in the morning I commented about her ponies also and she said it again. That Gary! He just messes with their minds and gets them all programmed!
Joslyn loves sticking the square duplo blocks together into a tall tower. She has been doing it since we did toy exchange. Usually Morgan will play with the lego animals, tractors or people, but not the plain blocks. Today Morgan was really watching when Joslyn was stacking them then went over and got some for herself and started putting them together. She was so proud of herself.
I am still "testing" a couple of the kiddos for the developmental checklist, but I am done with Morgan. No matter what it is that I am asking the kiddo to do, Morgan always either comes over and tries to do it too or will ask, "Me turn!" wanting to do it when they are done. Morgan ate all of her chex cereal and fruit salad at breakfast. At lunch she drank all of her tomato soup and ate about half of both her apple slices and her roast beef sandwich.
Morgan was wrapping and caring for her "baby" a lot this morning. That was the first thing she did after rocking onthe horse and pretty much everything else she did in the big room involved the baby from there on out (reading, singing, riding on the horse, cooking...)
Lately Morgan has really enjoyed sitting on "The mump" ("the bump", which is what we call the chair arms) to read books. She will get several, put them in front of her and read one after another. As she finishes them (on the last page) she will announce "the end" as she tosses them down to the floor.
Morgan was playing with the legos briefly this morning. She found a tiny corral that just fit a person in it. She put the person in and kept calling it the "high chair". I thought that was pretty creative.
Morgan had a couple melt-down this morning. I had been prepared for the possibility since it was obviously a pretty busy weekend for you guys.
Today I went to put on my apron and Morgan immediately pointed to her nose. I was amazed because she knew that I only wear my aprons when someone has a runny nose because it is easier to keep tissues handy. She is very observant.
