Morgan ate all of her malt-o-meal and raisins at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her salad with ranch, her mixed fruit and the noodles out of her spaghetti (a bite or two of burger with that).
Morgan and Kenzie continued playing the "I love you -- that side!" game you saw beginning for about 10 minutes. They probably would have continued it even longer if one of the other kiddos hadn't come and distracted them. : )
They were also playing "Go Potty!" Regretfully it wasn't the real thing, but one of them would announce "Go Potty!" and they would race over to the corner by the big window and squat down for a minute or so then jump up and say "All done! Go play!" Morgan started it, but Kenzie picked up on it right away.
Morgan bit Joslyn pretty hard today at the end of story time. I had just finished reading and Joslyn and Morgan were sitting by each other. Joslyn started to get down and was lightly using Morgan's shoulder as a support. Morgan didn't say anything or make any kind of a sound to let us know it was coming -- just turned her head and chomped. You could see basically her whole set of upper teeth in the top of Joslyn's hand.
Morgan, Kenzie and Jadey were all sitting on the yellow chair looking at books. Jadey suddenly announced that there was "candy" in her book. Morgan flew up from the "bump" she was sitting on, swiping the pile of 5 or 6 books she had been looking at onto the floor and said, "I want canny!" All three of them spent the next several minutes 'eating' candy off of the book page.

1/19/12
Morgan ate about half of her cinnamon raisin English muffin and all of her blueberries at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her potato salad, about half of her canned chicken on saltines and a bite of canned cherries.
Directly after breakfast, Morgan tried to head out of the big room gate into the dining/living room area. When I asked her what she was doing, she said, "gonna sleep on nap mat!" She obviously thought she had just finished lunch so it was nap time. About 10 minutes later she came over to me, chuckling and pointed at the gate again telling me, "I gonna sleep on my nap mat!" I think it had just hit her that it was funny! : )
We have decided that this group of kiddos do a lot of "pack" playing. When one of them does something, they all do it MOST of the time (like a pack of canines). One of them was that Kenzie got down on her hands and knees and started crawling everywhere. Before long, every mobile child was on their hands and knees crawling around following her, with Morgan first in line. : )
Morgan had one of the dolls standing on its head in the play kitchen sink. She told Kenzie, "I washin' my baby!" I asked her if that was how mommy and daddy gave her a bath and she tipped her had back, stuck out her belly, laughed and said, "No!" : )

Morgan ate seconds on both peaches and biscuit at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her baked beans and bites of her pineapple, dinner roll and steamed broccoli.
I have decided that Morgan really likes both books and music. I say that because she is constantly saying that one book or another is "my favorite". She also does this with the songs that are playing or she will say, "My song". She does "read" books and sing a lot, so it makes total sense.
Morgan was a little testy (especially with just cooperating with us when we asked her to do/not do something), but she had no biting incidents today.
She and Kenzie made up a game that both of them thought was hilarious. Morgan would say, "Hey Kenzie!" from somewhere in the room and Kenzie would turn around and make eye contact with her and they would both chuckle. They must have done it for at least 15 minutes! It was really cute!
Gary went out and re-shoveled today and all of the kiddos were lined up at the big window to watch when he was out there. They thought it was great fun to see him scrape up that white stuff then throw it around! : )

Morgan ate all of her hashbrowns and thirds on waffles at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her shrimp and oranges, about half of her brown rice and a bite of red pepper.
Morgan, Jadey and Kenzie all played a cover each other up game for about 15 -20 minutes. They would take turns laying down and the other two would do the covering. The person laying down would then hop up and it was the next ones turns. For some reason they thought it was not only a LOT of fun, but also quite funny! : )
As I already told her, Morgan bit Peyton when she was in the same space as Morgan. Not long after that it was lunch and Morgan bit either her cheek or tongue while eating lunch. She obviously remembered the earlier bite because she said "biting hurts" several times. Poor girl -- I HATE it when I bite my tongue!
Morgan kept pretending to have an "owie" somewhere today and then was having one of the stuffed animals "kiss owie" for her. I thought that was so cute, because she did it all on her own (at least we didn't model it for her -- maybe one of you did). : )
I asked Morgan what she did last night one of the times she was sitting on my lap for a "visit". She told me, "swimming pool at Mommy's house". I was pretty sure you guys don't have a swimming pool, but she was very adamant. Please let me know if there is more to this story...

1/16/12
Morgan ate all of her cheerios and a bite of banana at breakfast. At lunch she ate about half of everything -- grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup and apple slices.
Kenzie and Morgan were hugging over and over this morning. They were best buddies until our granddaughter, Story, woke up then Kenzie followed her around like a little puppy dog after that. While she was still being Morgan's buddy, they were covering each other with blankets, and then she kept asking Morgan, "You wanna read stories?" When Morgan didn't respond, she just plopped down by her and started reading the book in her hand.

It was so cute how much they were all enthralled with Story. When she first got up this morning, Gary took her to the couch to cuddle and wake up a little before playing. It was like she was a magnet. Literally all of the kiddos here today (except sleeping Riley) were surrounding her instantly. So cute! : )
I said the word "Grandpa" several times when I was talking with Story today and also asked him to take a picture of her doing something. Well, Morgan was obviously listening because she came over and sat on my lap, smiled big, and said "Take a picture, Grampy!" We cracked up!
Morgan also had to show us all of her tattoos today and then followed Coral around after Kenzie abandoned her for Story.
