Morgan ate all of her malt-o-meal and seconds on raisins at breakfast. At lunch she ate seconds on salad with ranch and all of her spaghetti with meat sauce, and mixed fruit.
Morgan and Emily did puzzles this morning together until Mia was ready for bed. They were working alongside each other mostly, but Emily asked Morgan to help her a couple times and them Emily also asked if she could help Morgan and Morgan went along with it (after giving her a look like, "Why do you need to help me?)".
Gary read stories to them this morning and he loves the sillier books. He was reading the "Down by the Bay" book and making a big deal out of the crazy things in it. Morgan really got the jokes and was laughing and covering up her mouth as she laughed. The other kiddos started imitating the laughter, and it was even just plain old contagious.
Morgan lay down for her nap and was having a hard time going to sleep. When I asked her if she needed to poop, she said she did and went in and pooped quite a bit. She came back out and lay back down. She still couldn't go to sleep for a little while so it was about 1:10 before she was finally out.

3/15/12
Morgan ate all of her blueberries and most of her cinnamon raisin English muffin at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her potato salad and canned chicken on saltines and a bite of canned cherries.
Morgan looked pretty proud of herself when she was showing Jadey and Kenzie how the dinosaur book and poster "match"ed. They really weren't nearly as interested as she thought they should have been, but...
Morgan talked about "Daddeo" several times to day and told us he was "in Billings" but that he was coming home "Late, late, late". It is amazing how well she stores some of that information and can then verbalize it back to us.
Alayna and Morgan had an altercation this morning that resulted in a bite to Alayna's hand. Alayna was determined to get the toy that Morgan was playing with away from her, but she didn't realize that Morgan is just as stubborn as she is and wouldn't relent. I was in the middle of feeding Riley and Gary was setting up breakfast. Neither of us could get there in time and neither of the girls would listen to my words so we ended up have one girl taking a break for biting and the other with an ice pack/cold cloth on her hand to sooth the bite mark. Ugh!
Joslyn was walking around today talking about getting "some money". Morgan picked right up on that had had to "get some money" also, of course. About a minute later Morgan added "at work" to the equation. That, to me, is just another great example of her wonderful application skills. : )

3/14/12
Morgan ate all of her peaches and a couple bites of biscuit at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her baked beans, pineapple and bread and about half of her steamed broccoli.
Morgan wanted to do puzzles two different times. I think she has figured out that it is a way that she can have a little alone time when she needs it (as well as just liking to work on the puzzles).
Morgan looked at the "Mary had a little lamb" book on the couch for about 20 minutes, singing along with it. She sometimes sang it with "Mary" and other times with one of the kiddos names (or Gary's). It was very cute because she was just kind of in her own world -- that was all that was important to her at the time.
Morgan and Kenzie were in conflict today over space at the climber/balance beam. Kenzie started to move away and Morgan bit her on the bottom. Hmm... Rump roast?
Morgan was playing on the climber/balance beam and mattress later and she had her legs on the beam and her hands on the mattress kind of making a bridge. I started singing "Morgan bridge is falling down" and she thought that was hilarious.
Morgan was laying on the floor and Kenzie and Jadey were taking care of her like a baby. They brought her a play water bottle, covered her up with the doll blankets and were just very attentive. Morgan was loving every moment of it.

3/13/12
Morgan ate seconds on waffles and all of her hashbrowns at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her shrimp and a bite of her rice. She then bit her tongue and that was the end of eating.
All of the kiddos were a little feisty and short fused today. I think the time change hit them more today than yesterday. Morgan, specifically, needed redirection several times when she was trying to take another kiddos items or just pushing or grabbing them. She had a couple minor melt downs over very small issues. (At least that is MY perspective. Obviously she didn't think they were minor!)
Morgan and Jadey had their backpacks on and dolls in hand this morning and kept saying that they were "Going to school".
Later she was holding one of the cell phones out in front of her, focusing on the screen and pushing the buttons. "I play games", she volunteered. : )
We drew with the magna doodles today and they all spent at least 15 minutes doing it. Morgan kept drawing, then telling Gary to look at what she had made. Some times she would label it for him, but she mostly just wanted to make sure she had his attention.

3/12/12
Morgan ate all of her cheerios and a bite of her banana at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her grilled cheese sandwich and her tomato soup and a few bites of apple.
Morgan and Jadey were both wanting to hold baby Mia this morning so we let each of them try while we were right there beside them. Morgan was thrilled, was so careful and Mia seemed very comfortable with her.
I guess Jadey must have been bugging Morgan because she came over to me as I was sitting on the floor and said, "so Jadey no bug me!" Of course, Jadey heard that and immediately tried to come over and "bug" her some more but I could help her out since she had used her words so well and I knew what she wanted.
Morgan cracked me up this morning when she was walking around with a cell phone in one hand, back pack in the other muttering, "I running late. I running late!"
Morgan told me she wanted to "Do signs" while I was in the middle of changing a baby. Jadey obviously heard it also because she went over to the step and announced that it was time to do signs. She then proceeded to make two different signs (stop and thank you) and was 'teaching' them what they meant. It was really cute. Morgan was really into it until she realized there were only going to be those two. She was happy when I took over with a little more variety.
