Morgan ate all of her brown rice and raisins at breakfast. At lunch she didn't eat anything. She had a meltdown right about the beginning of lunch and was too worked up to eat anything, I think. She did go right to sleep though, so maybe that was why she had the melt-down in the first place. Maybe not sleeping as well at night has finally caught up with her. She had a really good morning other than that, though.
Morgan was being very sweet and friendly with several of the kiddos today. She kept bringing them bears to love, play with or jump with. I love the picture to the left of Morgan. It caught her pony tail flopping up as she jumps. They kiddos were all really into dancing and jumping with the teddy bears today, but Morgan and Jadey stuck with it longer than the rest.
Morgan was also very interested and engaged with feeding her "baby" today. It usually starts out because I am feeding either Nora or Riley, but today Morgan just did it out of the blue. I love how focused she gets on doing it.
Morgan was also very engaged for about 15 minutes with fixing and serving Kenzie and Joslyn play cookies and brownies today. They were all really into it and I loved watching it.

1/5/12
Morgan ate seconds on grapes and thirds on cinnamon toast at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her chicken strips, most of her mashed potatoes and a bite of both dinner roll and canned cherries.
You know how Morgan has been doing somersaults and calling them "back flips" for a couple months (or more)? Well, all at once the rest of the "big kiddos" are calling it that too. None of the other kiddos had really done it before and then today I heard all of the talkers saying it, so... : ) It always baffles me what makes something click all of the sudden. : )
Morgan was singing "Frosty the Snowman" several times today. It was never in very long segments, just a bit here and a bit there. Usually it was the first part but not always.
So has Morgan really named the bear that she had with her at the game the other night "Jadey bear"? During one of our "visits" I asked her what the bear she showed me at the basket ball game's name was and that is what she told me. : )
We had a couple crows and several squirrels outside of the big window today to entertain the kiddos. Our neighbor across the street is feeding the squirrels, so we should be seeing them on a regular basis! Morgan really gets a kick out of watching them.

1/4/12
Morgan ate all of her whole wheat bagel and her peaches at breakfast. At lunch she ate about half of her lettuce shreds with ranch and all of her corn and her homemade macaroni and cheese.
Morgan came up to me and told me, "I hot". I thought she was probably wanting to take off her shirt or other piece of clothing, but realized differently when I saw that she was pointing to where the thermometer is stored. She was just wanting to get her temperature checked!
Not long after Morgan came today she came over rubbing and messing her hair up something crazy. She pointed to her hair then where we keep the ponies and combs, saying "My hair's SO wild!" That just cracks me up! She really had an emphasis today.
Morgan just loves one-on-one time I try to take time to have with each kiddo every day. We call it "having a visit". She came over today before I was even ready and took my hand and lead me over to the couch. When I sat down and she climbed up on my lap, she said, "We talking!" It just cracked me up! : )
Today Joslyn, Kenzie, Jadey and Morgan kept taking turns "cuddling" on my lap. The majority of the time it was Morgan and Kenzie and for most of that they created their own "game". Morgan was pretending to cry or fuss and Kenzie would lean over toward her and say, "Morgan?" then Morgan would laugh and they would start all over again. Whenever Morgan didn't do it, Kenzie would tell her "Again!" It was hilarious!

1/3/12
Morgan age all of her pears and seconds on blueberry muffins at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her sweet potatoes, oranges and most of her tuna on saltine crackers.
Morgan was so glad she had more friends her today (everyone was back). She especially loved it when Kenzie gave her a couple welcoming loves. : )
Morgan and Jadey had a blast today lining up all of the stuffed bears on the couch. After they had all of them up there (and there are a LOT), Jadey climbed up on the couch and lay right on top of them. Morgan stuck her tummy out and really laughed at that! : )
Morgan must have been in the habit of getting pretty comfortable at home this last week, because today she started stripping off her shirt after she took her tutu off. We decided the shirt should say and she did fine with it after I tickled her tummy and told her it might get cold without a shirt to snuggle under. : )
I had some music on today that we haven't played for a while and she got very excited and announced over and over, " my favorite!" It is an old 50's song called "The naughty lady". It really isn't as bad as it sounds. It has all of these analogies that could refer to a loose woman, but actually end up referring to a baby... I am sure Morgan liked it because it has a great rhythm and catchy tune.

1/2/12
Morgan ate all of her Chex cereal and fruit salad at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her roast beef sandwich, a bite of apple and a sip of tomato soup. I think she was more tired than hungry at lunch, because she was asleep within just a couple minutes after laying down. : )
We only had three kiddos here today, which was a nice way to break back in. Morgan asked about Kenzie and Joslyn several times and Thomas once, but had fun playing with Emily. I was finishing up folding my laundry since it was slow and Morgan loved that. She came over to "help" me. That really meant that every time I pulled something out of the basket and was starting to fold it, she came over and grabbed it so we could have a good old tug-of-war before I got it away to actually fold it. She thought that was great fun!
After I had it all done, she then went over to all of the dress up clothes and started "doin' laundry" too. Emily "helped" her for a while and was about as much help to her as Morgan had been to me. Morgan first piled everything up, then moved it to one area and said "Wash". She then moved it to another area and said "Wet" (which I think meant that they were wet and needed to be dry). She then folded (or usually rolled or just kind of stuffed) the items each and tried to stack it on top of each other. The tutus were a little too puffy, so she asked me for help. : )
After Emily moved away from the "laundry" work, Morgan noticed she was missing and turned around about three times, asking "Where the Emily went?" I just thought the way she worded it was SO funny! Besides the fact that she was only about 6 feet away from her looking out the big window! : )
