Morgan ate all of her brown rice and seconds on raisins at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of meatloaf, about half of her carrots and french bread, and all of her dried apricots.
Morgan was very excited when I was doing her hair and Joslyn's hair. I didn't do Joslyn's until later and by then Morgan was wanting me to do her's again.
Morgan was carrying around one of the dolls for her "baby" today. She was holding it, rocking it and working hard to be a "good little mommy!" I was helping all of the toddlers wrap, rock and sing to their babies and Morgan just went with it and was swaying and "singing" too.
Morgan was excited to walk on the big block "sidewalk". Jadey was sitting on the edge of the box and being the announder/cheerleader. It was pretty cute because she was cheering for them -- "Go Everson go! Go Morgie Go!" Morgan always responded with energy to Jadey's cheeriing! : )

Morgan ate a bite of her cinnamon toast and all of her grapes at breakfast. At lunch she ate no cherries and all of her homemade chicken strips, dinner roll and mashed potatoes.
Morgan went over to the cd player, pointed up at it and asked "Mewick" for me to turn on the music. It was really cute. When I repeated back to her what I thought she wanted she got very excited (belly pushed out and everything)! : )
Morgan was carrying around one of the dolls today (she almost always carries the same one in this exchange). She then bent down and kissed it on the head with such a sweet look on her face. It was precious!
Gary was laying on his back to give it a break and relax it a bit today. Of course, the toddlers (including Morgan) all think that is an open invitation to go over, climb on him, sit on him and try to wrestle with him. Morgan also went over and just stood in front of him examining his face, as if trying to "read" how he was feeling.
Speaking of reading, Morgan "read" several books independently and then stayed at story time while gary read 6 of the longer books to them. She likes reading!

Morgan ate about half of her whole wheat bagel and all of her peaches at breakfast. At lunch she ate about half of her salad with ranch, all of her corn and seconds on homemade macaroni and cheese.
Morgan was tired acting this morning. She yawned multiple times, was staring a lot and acted out some. I put her in her bed twice when she had melt downs, but she didn't go to sleep either time. The attitude was showing through even when you were still here, obviously, but she went ballistic when I went to the window and encouraged her to come wave at you guys.
Morgan and Joslyn spent about 20 minutes sitting on the little yellow bench and looking at books alongside each other. They did look at a couple together (sharing the same book), but most of the time they were each looking at their own book.
Morgan loved it when we were trimming the neighbor's apple tree (with nippers) and throwing the baby apples that were falling from it over the fense. She kind of loved it too much because she wanted to be right in the middle of it. I missed catching one of the branches as it came down and it scratched her left shoulder. : ( She only cried briefly. She was too thrilled about what was going on.

Morgan ate all of her pears and seconds on blueberry muffins at breakfast. At lunch she ate a taste of orange slices and all of her sweet potatoes and her tuna on saltines.
Morgan was crawling around with her tongue out panting today. She then came over and stopped right in front of me until I "pet" her. I told Gary that I thought she was pretending to be a puppy. Morgan got all excited, pointed to herself and said, "I doggy!" I was impressed. She did that pretend play three different times throughout the morning.
Morgan was playing with the lego train pieces today and ran over one of the dollies (on purpose). I commented that I hoped that didn't hurt the baby and Morgan picked the doll up, put it up to her shoulder, patted its back and said, "You OK?" It was pretty sweet!
I said something about taking a picture of something and Morgan raced over to the changing table, pointed up behind it on the ledge where the camera sits and said, "Me too! Me too! Me too!" Cute!
I asked one of the other kiddos to take the pony tail holder jar over to Gary this morning after I had cone Morgan and Emily's hair. They weren't doing it and Morgan went over to where they were pointing at Gary to help them out. When they still didnt' do it, she paused for about a minute, then snatched it out of her hand, said "Give Gary!" and raced it over to him. Although we don't condone grabbing things out of each other's hands, I have to admit, it was pretty funny! : )

Morgan ate all of her fruit salad and seconds on Chex cereal at breakfast. At lunch she drank all of her tomato soup but only ate a bite of her apple slices and her roast beef sandwich.
Morgan was not happy this morning although she did calm down a little after you left. After about 15 minutes of trying to figure out what she wanted/what was wrong, I finally asked her if she was tired and wanted to go to bed. She nodded her head and headed over to the gate. I put her to bed and she slept for about an hour (until breakfast).
She was in a much better mood after she woke up and ate breakfast. She played well with no melt downs or other challenging behaviors. She much just be extra tired with the heat and/or whatever is going on with her little body. Her nose didn't run at all today for us.
Morgan spent about 15 minutes "reading" to herself in the big yellow chair. She looked at book after book and was pointing at pictures and jabbering off and on the whole time.
I think it is so cute how she comes over to me and points at her butt and says, "Tinky" when she has a poopy diaper. That is much better than sticking her hands into it then bringing me a poopy hand to show me. : )
