Morgan put on one of the tutus and was spinning and watching it poof out. As soon as Kenzie, Jadey and Emily saw that they all raced over and put one on and started spinning also. It is amazing how often that happens. Our group right now travels in a pack! : )
Morgan and Kenzie were having a minor conflict over something and she must have decided it was all better (despite the frown still on Kenzie's face) because she said "Now, let's go have some fun!" That just cracked me up!
Morgan played with the baking/cooking stuff for a while. She wasn't really pretending to bake or cook with it, just sorting the stuff and setting it up just the way she wanted it to.
Morgan and Grumpy Bear were buddies again today -- "reading" books together, cuddling and giving and getting kisses.

Morgan was thrilled to see that this set of stuffed animals has a BIG Care Bear Grumpy Bear in it. That was her favorite play mate all day. "I sittin' on Grumpy's lap!" she announced and sure enough she was sitting right on him.
She also spent a long time "reading to Grumpy". I think she actually "read" or looked at every single book out with this set of toys. Most of the time Grumpy bear was sitting right beside her. She also brought him over to me and said, "He's a nice Grumpy" then had him kiss her band-aid. : )
She did abandon Grumpy a couple times, but spent most of the big room play time with him. The first time she did something without him she went over and was "making cookies with the pretend mixer and the bowl and spatula. The second time she and Kenzie were pretending the cradle was their car and they were going to Costco.

Morgan was really watching as I was setting up my note taking sheets for journaling. She then pointed to the KC and asked, "That Kenzie?", to MS and said "That me!" and then to the AC and asked, "That Layna?" I am sure she surprises me with something she knows that I don't know she knows at least once a day!
Morgan lined all of the stuffed bears up along the window sill and then the step underneath the big window. The big ones wouldn't stay on the sill, so they all were on the step and the little ones in the sill.
Morgan was in the space under the balance beam/climber and Kenzie started putting the stuffed bears in along side of her. Morgan thought it was funny and encouraged her along the way. Kenzie continued until she was pretty packed in there. When Morgan popped herself out of it, she laughed hard and said she "poofed them out!" It was pretty cute!
Morgan and Kenzie were filling all of the hard hats with food, tools, baby bottles and more until they were full and over-flowing. They were either carrying them around that way or just dumping and refilling them.

Morgan ate about half of her cinnamon raisin English muffin and all of her blueberries at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her potato salad and canned cherries and about half of her canned chicken on saltines.
Morgan and Jadey literally piled all of the teddy bears up on the couch then climbed up and sat (or lay) on top of them. She also set them up in a "family" on the floor in front of the couch and told me they were "cuddling". I thought that was really sweet! Another thing Morgan did with the bears that I loved was when she found the two with magnetic noses and had them together kissing. She said, "I helping 'em kissin'. Mommy and Daddio!" Oh....
Morgan was quite impressed with her shirt today. First of all she came over to me after she had really been studying it (especially the design on it) and said, "I have a 'bootiful' shirt today!" She also had to show everyone her "pocket" and then have me help her stick one hand all the was through it. It gave her a lot of enjoyment.
Thomas was really making his trying to get attention sound today. It must have been annoying Morgan because she came over to me and sat down by me, kind of leaning against my shoulder and said, "I don't like his 'uhn, uhn, uhn'!" I have to admit that does get a little old! : )

Morgan ate all of her peaches and about half of her biscuit at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her baked beans and broccoli, most of her dinner roll and about half of her pineapple.
Morgan, Jadey and I had a lot of fun playing with the pretend food first thing this morning. Morgan "ate" the sandwich I helped her make over and over and then was sharing it with me after mine was "all gone". When she was done she used it as a kind of floor Frisbee w/the different parts of the sandwich scattering in all different directions.
Morgan spent quite a bit of time being "team Morgie" on the climber/balance beam and mattress also. She was jumping and bouncing, doing "back flips", pushing off the wall and flopping on the mattress backwards and many other great stunts. Now even Thomas and Peyton come up to me with their hands up for a "five" and me to say "team child's name". Morgan say Peyton come over to do it saying, "Tee, Tee" and really started laughing.
Morgan had a pair of pliers in her hand and announced, "I fixin' the wall". She went to about 6 or 7 different spots on the wall and was really "working" on it. It was fun to watch.

Morgan ate all of her hashbrowns and seconds on waffles at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her orange and yellow fresh pepper pieces, most of her rice, about half of her shrimp and a bite of orange slices. When Morgan asked what we were having for breakfast and I told her she had to double check, asking "no eggs?" When we have breakfast for lunch we DO have it with eggs (and melon), : )
Yesterday we had a book that was broken in the back room so I brought it out and put it on Gary's spot to tape. He did it yesterday evening and just put it in the book rack in the big room not knowing where it went. Morgan noticed it immediately and told us, "It go back room". Gary let her take it back and put it where it belonged and on the way back into the big play room gate she said, "Silly Gary" while shaking her head with an amused grin on her face.
Morgan and Jadey played together peacefully all morning. They were looking at books together, jumping onto the mattress, lining up the stuffed bears on the couch and later the floor, and playing with the dolls. Also Morgan pretended she had an "owie" on her arm and Jadey got her a pretend "cold cloth" to put on it and make it feel better.
Morgan was thrilled when the ABC song came on the iPod. She lit up and pointed to her ABC shirt as she sang. We sang more songs and she was helping the teddy bear she was playing with do all of the motions to the songs, saying "I helpin' my bear" the whole while.

Morgan ate all of her cheerios and about half of her banana at breakfast. At lunch she had all of her grilled cheese sandwich, about half of her tomato soup and a couple bites of apple slices.
Morgan got very excited when the Baby Beluga song/story came on today. She raced over to where the books where and looked through them until she found the Baby Beluga book. She looked at the pictures all the way through the song. Even after the song was over she still looked at the book and sang it herself.
Morgan was so cute with her pile of books, reading to her bear today. She had him sitting in front of her with books to read stacked on one side and books that had already been read on the other. It was pretty cute.
Morgan was also really into "making sandwiches" today. After she had fixed and extra good one, she brought it over to share with me then "ate" the rest up all by herself! She was talking about "it spicy on it" and pretending it was to hot for her.
One of the kiddos pulled another kiddos hair today. Morgan re-enacted the whole scene using two of the little teddy bears' She had one pull the other's hair then made the perpetrator give the victim a love and ask if they were all right. It was really cute.
