Morgan ate all of her dried cranberries and seconds on oatmeal at breakfast. She decided to put her craisins into her oatmeal and ate them right down. At lunch she ate seconds on applesauce, all of her pea and pasta casserole and most of her ground burger.
Morgan pulled out the big interlocking blocks first thing and wanted me to help her build with them. I built a big "house" and Morgan loved that. She then started trying to push it all around that side of the big room. It didn't work very well and she managed to get it on her toe, which didn't make her to happy. I helped her get it off and then told the house to stay off of her toe. She really laughed!
Morgan was playing with the lego train pieces and kept asking her buddy Bode to help her put them together. Bode loved being her helper and sometimes just volunteered even before she asked if he saw they had broken apart.
Bode started pretending that the "house" I had build was his swimming pool and that he was jumping in and swimming. Of course, Morgan had to start imitating him and they had so much fun. There was lots of laughter!

Morgan ate most of her blueberries and all of her blueberry bread pudding at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of her kiwi and all of her green beans and turkey burger.
Morgan wanted me to help her put the big lego train together this morning. Instead I spent about a minute teaching her how to put it together and she caught on quickly. She didn't want to drive the train around after hooking it together, she really just liked the process of hooking and unhooking it.
Jadey asked for music on today and then grabbed Morgan's hands to dance with her. Morgan was so excited that she started dancing and squealing even before the music came on. They really went crazy with the music actually came on. : )
Morgan was pretending to be a puppy and was going all over to us (Gary, me, Bode and even Emily and Joslyn to get "petted". Obviously she made it look like fun because Bode, Jadey and Emily started imitating her!
Aidan and his dad stopped by to visit for a little this morning and Morgan had to copy whatever Aidan was doing. It was really cute!

Morgan ate all of her dried mangoes and bites of her cinnamon whole wheat toast at breakfast. At lunch she ate seconds on beef and bean burrito and all of both her swee potato and her tropical fruit.
Morgan was the patient rather than the doctor most of the time today. Coral, Bode and Jadey were all giving her shots, checking out her heartbeat and ears, giving her medicine... She loved it and did have to do a little doctoring herself, too, of course.
Morgan was really into building with the big interlocking blocks today. It was really funny because Kenzie was standing close by with her amrs crossed, watching intently as if she was supervising the project. Man! You can't even get away without having a foreman at the age of One! : )
Morgan and Emily were in mild conflict a lot today. Morgan wasn't bonking her on the head, like yesterday, but she was being feisty. It was very mutual though, because Emily kept trying to take her books and toys, was gettting in her space, hitting at her and just egging her on. Somehow Morgan did end up with a handful of Emily's blonde hair in her tight little fist. Oops!

Morgan ate seconds on dried plums and all of her cinnamon bites at breakfast. At lunch she ate about half of her scrambled eggs and all of her waffles, hashbrowns and cantaloup.
Morgan was using the ear examining doctor's tool to check out Peyton's ears today. I was a little concerned when I saw her moving toward her with the tool and went over where I could quickly intervene if needed. Morgan was so very gentle with it that I didn't have to do anything other than watch both of the girls enjoying the process.
Morgan was playing alongside Bode today and they built tall towers off of the building Gary had made yesterday. When it got too tall for Morgan to reach the top of her tower, Bode started helping her put them up for her. She would get the block and hand it to him and he would add it to the top. It was really sweet team work!
Morgan loves it when Coral is here. She always gets some extra attention, which she loves. Today Coral was reading to Bode and Morgan came over to join them. Bode liked it that Morgan had come over too. Later Coral was being the "Doctor" and helping several of the kiddos (and doing surgery on me) and Morgan was hanging around with doctor tools in hand being either her nurse or assistant. : )
Morgan was playing with the jingle bells with Joslyn, laying down to be covered and go to "sleep" with Bode and Jadey and trying to "feed" Kenzie and Emily. She kind of seems to get around to everyone.
Morgan was playing with one of the airplanes today. She brought it over to Coral and me and told us it was a "Pwane". She then started making "spkew-spkew-spkew" sounds that were kind of like a combination of shooting and motor sounds.

Morgan ate bites of her mixed fruit and about half of her Kix cereal at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of her mandarin oranges and all of her broccoli and her ham sandwich.
Morgan asked for music today and then she and Joslyn were holding hands and dancing. It was so cute. I started to video it, but the battery died! Ugh!!! Morgan was also dancing briefly with Jadey and Bode, but mostly with Joslyn. Joslyn kept saying "Ashes, ashes" and trying to pull Morgie down.
Morgan had a plate with some food on it. She took it over to Bode, who was onthe couch. She showed him, pointed to the little picnic table and said, "want some, want some?" It was really cute. He did and went right over to the table and let her serve him some food.
Morgan was carrying around one of the dolls and saying "Dowwy, dowwy (dolly)" and imitating Bode calling it "Baby Riley" (which is Kenzie's little sister).
Morgan pulled her dress up this morning right in front of Bode and he told her, "Close yourself down, Morgie!" That just cracked me up! : )
Morgan was watching herself in the mirror and making really exaggerated and crazy expressions as she watched. She is such a fun kiddo.

Morgan ate all of her brown rice and seconds on raisins at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of meatloaf, about half of her carrots and french bread, and all of her dried apricots.
Morgan was very excited when I was doing her hair and Joslyn's hair. I didn't do Joslyn's until later and by then Morgan was wanting me to do her's again.
Morgan was carrying around one of the dolls for her "baby" today. She was holding it, rocking it and working hard to be a "good little mommy!" I was helping all of the toddlers wrap, rock and sing to their babies and Morgan just went with it and was swaying and "singing" too.
Morgan was excited to walk on the big block "sidewalk". Jadey was sitting on the edge of the box and being the announder/cheerleader. It was pretty cute because she was cheering for them -- "Go Everson go! Go Morgie Go!" Morgan always responded with energy to Jadey's cheeriing! : )

Morgan ate a bite of her cinnamon toast and all of her grapes at breakfast. At lunch she ate no cherries and all of her homemade chicken strips, dinner roll and mashed potatoes.
Morgan went over to the cd player, pointed up at it and asked "Mewick" for me to turn on the music. It was really cute. When I repeated back to her what I thought she wanted she got very excited (belly pushed out and everything)! : )
Morgan was carrying around one of the dolls today (she almost always carries the same one in this exchange). She then bent down and kissed it on the head with such a sweet look on her face. It was precious!
Gary was laying on his back to give it a break and relax it a bit today. Of course, the toddlers (including Morgan) all think that is an open invitation to go over, climb on him, sit on him and try to wrestle with him. Morgan also went over and just stood in front of him examining his face, as if trying to "read" how he was feeling.
Speaking of reading, Morgan "read" several books independently and then stayed at story time while gary read 6 of the longer books to them. She likes reading!
