Morgan ate a bite of her mixed fruit and all of her kix cereal at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her steamed broccoli and her ham sandwich and a bite of her mandarin oranges.
Morgan really didn't act like she felt very good today. She was quite fussy off and on, had a cough and green runny nose and wanted to cuddle way more than usual. I took her temperature and it was only 99.4 at its highest, so I didn't call, but she was pretty miserable. It seemed to me like it was more than just teething, but... Maybe she has what mom had last week. ?? I don't know.
Morgan did enjoy exploring the "new" toy exchange stuff in between being miserable. She really liked taking apart the Velcro fruits and vegetables and putting them back together. It might not be the same kinds of fruits or vegetables that she was trying to put together either.
Morgan also played with the various shaker toys that are out right now. We have the little shaker eggs, the clear rain sticks, and some rings with big beads enclosed in them. She was trying them all out and ended up spending more time playing with the rainsticks. She really seemed to like watching all the tiny little beads fall inside of it.
Morgan as added the toothbrushing to her after breakfast routine very smoothly. We haven't had to remind her once yet. She just goes right over and sits on the step waiting for us to get and give her the toothbrush. It is really cute and she loves it!
Morgan was trying to follow the big kiddos example again today and walk on the huge interlocking blocks. These ones have huge lego type bumps on the top and it makes it quite challenging. Bode and Everson were having a hard time doing it also, so I just told all of the kiddos that they could sit on them or lay on them, but were weren't going to stand them. She didn't like that much at first, but she listened pretty good without a melt down.
