Morgan ate all of her whole wheat bagel and her dried apricots at breakfast. At lunch she ate seconds on applesauce and on peas and pasta with grated cheese on it. She also finished all of her tilapia.
Morgan asked me to help her make a "motorcycle" first thing this morning. I did, but it must not have been quite what she had in mind. She "rode" on it briefly then started to add and take off blocks until she had a totally new and innovative one. I should have gotten a picture of it, but there were too many other things going on at the same time.
Morgan and Kenzie each put on a dress-up back-pack and were hiking around the room. Kenzie said they were "going to school", but Morgan didn't agree and said they were going to something that sounded like "oowahloo". I asked her to repeat it several times, but never did decipher a word I was familiar with. : ) To go along with the back-pack theme Morgan finally figured out an important concept this morning. She kept trying to zip one of the zippers on the backpack, but didn't realize she had to hold onto the back-pack by the zipper to make it work. After I had shown her several times she was still struggling with it, but finally figured it out on her own and was so excited! : )
Morgan and Kenzie were also playing with and examining the fish on the little picnic table together. First of all, they took each of them apart (they come into two pieces) and then Morgan got one of the play flashlights and was really examining them.
Outside Morgan and Joslyn started out sitting and rolling the ball to each other. After accidentally rolling it past Joslyn, Morgan must have decided to try a variation of the game. She started flinging it out on the lawn past Joslyn so she had to get up and chase after it every time. Goofy girl!
