Morgan ate seconds on cinnamon whole wheat toast and all of her grapes at breakfast. At lunch she everything -- ham slices, crescent, squash and pineapple.
Morgan was carrying phones around with her today -- with it hanging down behind her back, like she is listening to the conversation through the middle of her back. I really want to get a picture of it, but every time I try she quits before aI can get the camera and get ready.
She was in a much better mood today and ate better too. I don't know what was up, but... I am glad is was short lived, whatever it was.
She was playing with one of the dress-up purses quite a bit today. She was putting things in it and taking things out. Everson had helped her out some, by loading it down pretty good to begin with. She was also just carrying it around, which was pretty cute!
Morgan has begun being our new gate greeter lately. She almost always goes over to the gate when parents and kiddos come in the morning. Most of the time she is either saying "Hi!", waving or doing both.
Morgan was doing some peek-a-boo with Connor in and around the igloo today. They even let Jadey join them for a little while, but she got tired of it pretty quickly.
Morgan was trying to put on one of the dress-up ties today. They are clip ons and she must have seen us or the other kiddos doing it, because she was trying to get it to clip onto the neck of her shirt. When that wasn't successful, she just draped it over her shoulder. : )

Morgan ate no pears and all of her whole wheat bagel at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her waffles, a couple bites of scrambled eggs and a bite or two of hashbrowns (no orange bits).
Morgan was very fussy in general and cranky with the kiddos (even Connor) first thing this morning, so I put her down for a morning nap before breakfast (about 8:05). She slept for about an hour, then work up when I put Kenzie to bed. She was a little less cranky, but still pretty fussy and tired acting. When I put her back to bed after nap, she didn't go to bed for about 30 minutes -- not crying, just talking or fussing off and on. She ended up sleeping about 1.5 hours at that nap, I think.
Morgan was pretending to drink out of one of the little play cups today a lot. She also kept getting a spoon and started stirring it. She must have been watching me mix up my tea in the morning. It looked a lot like that!

Morgan ate all of her cheerios and banana at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her tropical fruit, steamed cauliflower and cheese pizza.
Morgan came over to me, wanting up, and stayed to cuddle for several minutes. She then got down and played for several more minutes before going over to Gary, wanting up and cuddling with him for several more minutes. You could tell that she was a little tired today, but she didn't get real fussy or take a morning nap.
When Morgan saw Gary take the breakfast tray out to the utility/entry room she squirmed off of my lap and mage a beeline for the gate. She definitely knows what that means!
Morgan was walking around 'talking' on one of the play phones again today. It is so cute because she didn't even have it up to her ear, but down the middle of her back. After she had 'talked' for a while she brought the phone over and handed it to me. I guess whoever she was talking to wanted to say something to me. : )
Morgan was carrying around and "eating" the play mixer beaters a lot today. I can relate to that. I liked several beaters this weekend myself after doing some Christmas cooking. : )
Morgan has really been putting things inside of other things lately -- spoons or cookies in cups or other containers. Sometimes she acts like she is stirring something, but others it is just the act of putting it in and out that is fun. That is one of the milestones I look for -- every kiddo goes through experimenting with it.
Morgan and Connor were being very cute today playing peek a "Boo" with one of the vests over their heads. Connor started it by first putting it over his own head then pulling it off and saying "boo". He then put it on Morgan's head and she pulled it off and he said "boo"! They continued doing it (with either one of them both putting it over their head and pulling it off) for several minutes and were really smiling and chuckling!

Morgan ate all of her brown rice and seconds on raisins at breakfast. At lunch she only ate the spaghetti meat with sauce and wouldn't even try the macaroni noodles, chopped lettuce or mixed fruit.
Granted she was pretty tired at that point because she had stayed up this morning. She really did quite well even without me around for part of it. She hung out with Gary and the other infants while I took the bigger kiddos out to play in the snow. We have always done it in the afternoons in the past, but with this many younger babies, it isn't working because we have too many pretty young ones and it is hard for just one of us to give bottles, change and still monitor the other more mobile ones... Anyway, I think the 10-11 outside time for the bigger kiddos just might be the solution. : )
Morgan knows that we have one of her binkies on the ledge behind the changing station in the big room. When she starts getting tired or feeling fussy, she has been going over there and pointing so let us know she wants her binky. It is pretty cute (and very helpful).
Morgan was so cute with Emily today. She went over to her and lay her head on her shoulder, wrapped her arms around her and gave her a very nice hug. Emily loved it and was smiling big. Morgan must have been taking lessons from Connor and all the times he has done the same thing to her. : ) As you know, they are hugging regularly and both of them are all for it most of the time.

Morgan ate a bite of her mandarin oranges (subbed for melon gone bad) and seconds on whole wheat french toast at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her apple bits, most of her saltine crackers and a bite of both her turkey breast and her steamed broccoli.
Morgan had two poopy diapers before 10:30 today. They both were pretty yucky, but she isn't looking so are all yet, so hopefully it will stay that way. She didn't act tired enough to take a morning nap today. She actually did pretty well without it. I did give her a binky and/or cuddled her several different times when she got fussy, but she only used it briefly then was done and back to playing again.
She was looking as several books again today. She really does pretty well with them and seldom bends them the wrong way. The only time that happens usually is when she is trying to get one out of the book rack that is kind of stuck on put in wrong.
Morgan was playing with the the play vacuum again today. She played peacefully with it for a while then it started having a mind of its own and wasn't doing whatever she wanted it to do. I wasn't sure, for a while, if the vacuum or Morgan were going to win, but she came out on top! : )
She is getting more and more stable in her walking. I have seen her do this several times, but today was the most obvious. She was walking across the room and there were several toys in her path. Most of the time before she would instantly plop down and crawl past them then start again. Today she kept moving very carefully forward. She was kind of kick-scooting them out of her way ahead of her until they moved off to the side and she could continue regularly.

Morgan ate most of her dried mango bits and all of her whole wheat toast with jelly at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her peas, most of her beef and bean burrito and a couple bites of peaches.
Morgan alternated between wanting held and cuddled and down and playing this morning until breakfast. After breakfast she just wanted to go to bed! She had a pretty yucky poopy diaper -- probably the antibiotics kicking in! I will check more frequently and keep close tabs for any sign of soreness.
She really wasn't fussy at all, except for right after breakfast until I got her down for her nap. Other than that, she was in a good mood and had lots of smiles for us and the kiddos. She really seems to like it here and it is always more noticeable after being gone for a day or two.
Morgan had fun pushing the play vacuum cleaner around today and even pushed it from standing position a few times. She looked around with a smug look on her face, like she had really done something cool! I love it when they do things like that and are so proud of themselves. : )
She and Connor had their usual cuddling and hugging time again this morning and later were parallel playing with each of them having a phone and "talking" into it. Morgan did it first and Connor raced to get a phone, come stand by here and 'talk' too. It was very cute!

Morgan was extremely tired this morning and couldn't even make it to breakfast. She went to sleep about 8:30 and I had to physically pick her up and wake her up at 10:40. Even then she just lay on my lap for about 20 minutes until I had to move to help one of the other kiddos. I thought she felt warm, but it was only a little off when I actually took her temperature.
Anyway, she slept through breakfast but made up for it at lunch by eating all of her sweet potatoes and tomato juice (drinking it) and seconds on grilled cheese sandwich.
When Morgan first got here, she kind of stood in the middle of the room and surveyed the shelves with the new stuff for a minute or so, then headed for the play vacuum cleaners. She sat down beside one of them and pushed it back and forth. They have a little "dust buster" in its built in 'pocket' and she had to take it out and put it back several times.
In the back room (after she finally actually woke up) she really enjoyed playing with the Disney pop up toys. She could only get one of them to pop up on her own (the one that you just push the button), the Bode was more than happy to pop them up for her so she could press them back down. : )
