Morgan ate seconds on both whole wheat bagel and dried apricots at breakfast. At lunch she ate basically everything -- tilapia, applesauce and pea pasta salad.
This is so funny. I had just told Matt that Morgan showed absolutely NO interest in baby Peyton yesterday. Well, today she went over to wherever she was and talked to her, gently touched her or just hung out by her several times. She either just realized she was hear or heard what I said and decided to prove me wrong. : ) Either way, Peyton liked it.
Gary was trying to get Morgan to say his name several times to day. She kept saying "ga-ga" instead, which was really cute!
Morgan was playing with the pop-up disney toys in the back room today. They each have 5 different things you have to do to make the disney character pop up. At first Morgan kept bringing it to me to have me "help" her pop them up, then we progressed to her letting me show her how to do it and have her practice, then she started doing most of them independently (unless one was being uncooperative) then she was doing it all on her own.

Morgan ate a bite of her craisins and seconds on bran flakes at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of her tropical fruit, about half of her cheese pizza and all of her cauliflower.
Morgan was very excited about the toy exchange. She played with the new food stuff a lot, especially the cookies and cake and the measuring spoons. She was also "pouring" stuff from container to container and making the "Chhhhhhhhh" sound effects. It was really cute!
I had made a set of stairs with a little platform on the top for the bigger kiddos to climb up and jump off. Well, Morgan really does think that she is one of the big kiddos and was determined to do it to. When she got to the top and looked down, I think she realized that it might not be as good of an idea as she originally thought, so she sat down and kind of scooted off. Her feet still didn't quite reach, though and she kind of crashed a little. She looked at Gary and laughed. That made Gary laugh and so they were both laughing about it. She then did it again just to make Gary laugh. : )
Morgan seemed quite happy that there were new blankets (scarves, actually) and dollies to wrap up, unwrap and carry today. She played with them a lot.

Morgan ate all of her raisins and seconds on malt-o-meal at breakfast. At lunch she ate the spaghetti meat and about half of the noodles, all of her salad and a bite of mixed fruit.
Morgan was wrapping, feeding and singing to her baby again today. She is actually starting to wrap her own babies. I will do it about the first 8-10 times for her when she brings it over (until it starts getting busier) then I tell her to try to do it herself. She is getting the idea. : ) Today I could actually hear her sing the words "Good night, Baby" as she sang. So sweet!
Morgan put on the vest and then wanted help putting on a pair of the work boots. I helped her get them on and she walked around wearing them for several minutes before asked for "Help" getting them off. They were pretty big and bulky.
Morgan was watching the four big boys put stuffed puppies on their heads and walk around for several minutes. She then went over and got a puppy and tried to get it to balance on her head. She couldn't quite get it and it kept falling off. She finally brought it over to me and pointed to her head. I helped her and she left it there for a good couple minutes. I was proud of her for not getting frustrated when it kept falling off to begin with.
Morgan wanted cuddled off and on several times today. One of the times when I was holding her, I noticed that she felt warm, so I took her temp. It was 100.4. Before nap it was 101.2, but I decided to just put her down for her nap and see what it was like after nap rather than calling you. If it is still high after nap, I will let you know.

Morgan ate all of her english muffin and blueberries at breakfast. At lunch she ate about half of her canned cherries and all of her potato salad and chicken on saltines.
Morgan went over to the dress-ups and got one of the vests to put on immediately after you guys left this morning. She is very proud that she can get it now!
Morgan was holding and swaying with one of the dollies today and doing singing sounds. I couldn't understand any of the words, but the tune sounded like our "Goodnight baby" song. It isn't often that you can tell what song a child is singing by the tune at this age, usually you hear words first. She may be a singing protege, who knows?
Morgan was very excited to do "free draw" with the big kiddos today. She did pretty good, though quite a bit ended up on her hands and even a little on her shirt. It should come out because they are washable. Sorry about that, though. She really enjoyed it and stayed at it as long as the big kiddos.

Morgan ate all of her biscuit and seconds on peaches at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of her steamed broccoli, about half of her dinner roll, most of her pineapple and all of her baked beans.
Morgan brought me her doll to wrap for her 6 more times before 8:00 today. She was also feeding the doll with the play bottles and she has such a sweet look on her face while she does it.
She was being extra whiney this morning (and it increased as the morning wore on). He nose ran about constantly (I must have used close to a roll of tissue on her) this morning so probably a lot of the fussiness was due to not feeling very well. I still required her to tell me what she wanted by either sign or using her words and she cooperated with it pretty well over all. Only once did she have a little bit of a tantrum and that was when I already had two kiddos on my lap and I couldn't pick her up when she wanted.
Yesterday Morgan just amazed me. When it was time to go outside after snack Morgan she got down off of the stool from washing up, headed to her cubby, got her coat off the hook and proceeded to lay it down and try to flip it over like all of the big kiddos do. She about had it also, except she was standing at the bottom of the coat rather than by the hood. She is a smart little girl.
We had the dance music on for quite a while this morning and Morgan was so excited! She was clapping and spinning, lifting her legs, stomping and otherwise dancing all over. Then when she would accidentally fall down because of her antics, she would laugh like crazy. It was really fun to watch.

Morgan ate all of her hashbrowns and thirds on waffles at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of oranges and all of her peppers, brown rice and shrimp.
Morgan was sticking the play drill up to her ear and making it look like she was drilling a hole in her ear. The drill part is retractable so it makes it look pretty realistic. I don't know if it felt funny or what, but she was really chuckling about it.
Morgan was doing a funny little swagger walk back and forth from side to side today and it made Emily laugh. I don't think Morgan really knew what she had done to make her laugh, but she wanted to keep it up.
Morgan was bringing dolls for me to wrap over and over in the big room, then in the back room she was bringing me the wind up radios for me to wind for her.
Morgan was in the igloo in the back and peeking out of it at Kenzie. Kenzie loved it, which encouraged her to keep doing it for about 15 minutes. It was funny.

Morgan ate all of her cheerios and seconds on banana at breakfast. At lunch she ate seconds on grilled cheese sandwich and all of her tomato soup and apple slices.
Morgan was doing a very good job of telling me "UhKay" (OK) or "Yeah!" when I asked or told her to do something today. It was actually really cute because there were several times when she not only said it but whirled around and immediately went the "right" direction to do what what asked.
Connor was really in 'harass Morgan' mode this morning. I reminded him to move back so much that Morgan was even doing the sign and saying "Moo bah". It was kind of cute, if he hadn't been distressing her so much!
The bigger kiddos were very interested in doing the pegs and pegboards, the puzzles and the matching games right outside of the big gate today. Morgan was very intrigued and stood right at the gate watching first one then another.
