Morgan took her usual morning nap but was pretty restless through it. When she woke up she as poopy and then had her morning bottle about 10:30. At lunch she ate all of her hot dog bun and green beans and a few bits of grapes. I also did chop up and give her about a quarter of a hot dog, but she only at a couple bits of it.
Morgan was "stuck" at the gate multiple times today. She loves going over, pulling herself up to it, stepping up onto the wood and watching whoever happens to be out in the kitchen (making bottles, getting breakfast, roommate Kate getting ready for school...), then she doesn't like it so much when she is done and wants down. I think it is so funny how they almost all seem to go through that stage -- getting up on things is great, but NOT getting down.
Morgan has started being the morning greeter lately. Many times when one of the parents/kiddos walks in, she will smile big and either say, "Hi!" or "Hi-ya!", which I believe is her "hello". She did it to Bode's big brother, Tate, today and he thought it was very cute!
Morgan spent a substantial amount of time first thing this morning trying to avoid Connor's kisses. He was quite determined and I had to move him several times when he kept trying to persist even though Morgan wasn't into it at all. Some men! They need to learn to respect a girls "no" a little better than that! : )
Morgan was really into playing with the little zoos in the back room today and pushing the buttons that make all of the different animals sounds. She really likes the monkey's sound and the elephants and almost always chuckled when they did it.
