Morgan ate seconds on both applesauce and cinnamon toast at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of her orange slices and all of her corn and peas and seconds on macaroni and cheese with ham. She did leave a few bite of the ham, but ate most of it.
Morgan is so funny and independent. I get such a kick out of when she starts to walk over to me so I put my arms out and prompt, "Come see me, Morgan." She invariably detours away from me and on to something else. If I didn't know that she liked me, it might be devastating to my ego. Talk about getting the cold shoulder!
Morgan loves hanging out in the book area. She might look at a couple pictures here and there, but she is mostly enthralled with taking pulling book after book out of the book shelf and tossing it or laying it on the floor.
Morgan went over to the window on her own after breakfast today and said, "Hi" and started waving very energetically.
I switched her slippers back to the old ones today. The new ones just weren't staying on. They came off several times yesterday too, but today I literally couldn't keep them on her.
You should have seen her playing with and loving on Connor. She literally sat on his lap facing him and then leaned over and hugged him, laying her head on his shoulder and side of his head. He was loving it and it was totally adorable! They didn't stay that was long enough to get a picture. : (
They were also playing in and around the igloo (peek and getcha type games), doing goofy things on the mattress and soft climber like rolling around, bouncing while sitting or standing, and doing the upside down thing like she is about to do a somersault. They were both really enjoying it and doing lots of smiling and chuckling at each other. Watching them interact was so fun!
