Morgan ate all of her apple slices and thirds on cinnamon roll (with no icing) at breakfast. At lunch she ate a bite of cherries, seconds on sweet potatoes and all of her tuna on crackers.
We have this whole set of routines and rituals that are developing around Morgan's binky. I think I had already mentioned how she will to go the changing table and point up at the ledge above it where we keep her binky when she starts getting fussy. That is one of the routines. She will usually suck on it for a while then just randomly discard it, wherever she happens to be. Sometimes Connor will find it and he immediately searches for her and tries to stick it back in her mouth. Most of the time, she is happy to have it back. Other times, we won't notice that it has been discarded until either one of the kiddos finds it and brings it to us (they all know it is Morgan's) or until she gets fussy again. We then have a "who can find Morgan's binky?" game. It is pretty funny.
She was into bugging Bode today and just followed him around relentlessly, getting right in is space or trying to take what he was playing with or looking at. She wasn't really being aggressive, just kind of invasive. Bode usually really likes her and tolerates her invading his space great, but today it really got on his nerves and he started and "No Morgan!" chant, which I couldn't help but find a little funny.
I love how Morgan is really starting to participate in many of the actual activities we do now. She reads with us for part of story time most mornings. When she starts getting squirming or insists on grabbing the book, we let her down to go play while story time continues, but she is more and more interested. She is also very interested when we sing songs. She will dance or even do the motions to many songs now. Two of her favorites are "If You're Happy and you Know it" and "Frosty the Snowman". With Frosty she almost always puts up her hand and yells when the cop says "Stop!" with the rest of the kiddos. She also waves "good-bye" at the end. It is SO cute!
