9/10/12

Morgan ate all of her raisin bran and craisins at breakfast.  At lunch she ate all of her pizza, most of her cauliflower and a couple bites of her tropical fruit.

Morgan had a wonderful morning.  She started out by visiting and doing puzzles with Emily.  She did the BIG puzzle with the letters of the alphabet (obviously 26 pieces).  Emily was "helping her", but I only saw Morgan putting pieces in actually.

Morgan came back out to the big room after doing puzzles outside the gate when Kenzie came.  Kenzie wasn't very friendly with her, so she went over and asked Joslyn if she wanted to play (which she didn't) so she went over to Emily and asked her. They played with the duplos together for a little, but soon Morgan was busy playing with the duplo people independently.  She continued that until breakfast.

The "apples and bananas" song came on today and Joslyn said, "That's Gary's song!"  I told Gary she had said it (he was out cleaning up after breakfast) so he asked her why she has called it his song.  She just chuckled so he asked her what he liked.  Morgan got a big grin on her face and said, "He like tomatoes!"  Oh my goodness!  I just cracked up!  She knew perfectly well that he was trying to get Joslyn to say bananas, but also knew that he DOES like tomatoes!  : )  What a kiddo!

Kenzie was sitting on a precariously piled bunch of blocks today and Morgan looked at it for a while then told her, "That's a funny ladder!"

You can tell the kiddos played outside this morning because they all have ash on their bottoms and knees -- it is so much blacker than regular dirt is.  Ugh!!!
