9/6/11

Morgan ate most of her pears and about half of her blueberry muffin at breakfast.  At lunch she ate everything -- tuna on saltines, sweet potatoes and orange slices.

Morgan brought over one of the dress-up shirts and asked me to "help plee" (please) so nicely today.  She wore it for quite a while and added a set of shorts to the outfit.  She actually had both legs in one of the short legs, but it works and she was proud of herself because she had done it independently.

All of the toddlers were playing with the doll blankets today.  They were covering their dolls, themselves and each other.  Kenzie loved it when Morgan covered her up then started singing, "Nigh-night, Kenzie" to her.  Everytime Kenzie stood up she handed Morgan the blanket then lay back down for her to cover bakc up.  It was really cute!

Morgan loves to be a helper and I have been trying to remember to have her help with little things rather than do them myself.  For example, with this many two and under, I haven't had time to eat meals with the kiddos, so have been eating when they are done.  I have been having Morgan take Gary (in the utility room) my plate or bowl (from the big room) when I am done.  She does such a good job of going to the gate and calling out, "here Gary!" until he hears her.  : )

Morgan was having a great time dancing and singing with the other toddler girls, especially Jadey and Kenzie.  She loved it when Kenzie came up to her with her arms out, saying "Row" because she wanted Morgan to do the 'row-row-row your boat' motions with her.
