Morgan ate all of her whole wheat bagel and peaches at breakfast. At lunch she ate everything -- home made macaroni and cheese, corn and lettuce with ranch.
We have been singing before breakfast lately because it helped these littler guys wait for Gary to get it set up. Morgan has really been into it. She is doing many of the motions and even singing quite a few words to their favorite. She especially likes 'If you're happy and you know it' and 'The wheels on the bus', but also likes 'Jesus loves me' (which Alayna always requests) and many more.
The kiddos were playing with the blankets again today and Joslyn was the main person Morgan was covering and singing to. She also walked around singing, "Nigh-night, Gary" quite a bit, but she wasn't covering him up. He told her he would love to take a nap though. : )
Morgan was playing with the cube shaped blocks again today. They are in the lego table with this rotation and she was really trying to get all of them out of the drawer and on top of the table. She first started out tipping herself upside-down, like a little wood duck them moved on to crawling into the drawer and all the way to the back of it, which was underneath the table. It just cracked me up! : )
That reminds me, we have noticed in many different instances and different situations what a good little problem solver Morgan is. If something is way back like the blocks, for instance, she will find a way to get to them. After tipping upside down, then almsot getting stuck crawling to the back, she got out and pulled the drawer the rest of the way out. All of this without getting frustrated. Another example is when one of the bikes is stuck on another one (or a wagon or car). She will work at it, stop and look at it and think about it then find a way to get it unstuck basically every time. Great skill! : )
