9/8/11

Morgan ate all of her whole wheat cinnamon toast and grapes at breakfast.  At lunch she ate a bite of canned cherries, abotu half of her dinner roll and all of her chicken strips and mashed potatoes.

Morgan enjoyed tearing apart part of the "house" that Gary built, rebuilding it, retearing it apart and rebuilding again.  She must have been doing a couple remodeling projects from the looks of it.

Morgan is such a good processor.  Today she wanted me to help her put on one of the skirts up over her feet.  She had one of the dress-up shoes already on and it was pretty big.  I told her that she needed to take off the shoe first then I could help her put it on.  She looked at me with a kind of puzzled look then looked down at her shoe and then at the hole in the shirt that she needed to step through.  Her face lit up and she plopped right down, took off the shoe, stepped into the skirt, pulled it up and then at back down and put the shoe back on.  You could almost see the wheels turning as she figured it all out!  : )

Morgan decided that her doll was "poopy" today and I showed her how she could pretend that the little picnic table was the changing table and the little piece of cloth was the baby wipe. She was thrilled and soon all of the little girls were "changing" and "cleaning" their baby's poopy diapers. It cracked me up.

All of the kiddos were were also thrilled with the shakers that they put stickers on at art time. They would put on a few stickers then shake them vigorously for a couple minutes then add more stickers.  Morgan did a great job of doing the sticker by herself.  She only needed help getting a couple of them loose to take off the paper.
