Morgan cracked Gary and I up when she started singing "Let's get together" while the iPod was playing "The More We get Together!" She went on and on singing it and other words to it.
Coral has been hanging out for about 20 minutes before walking to school in the morning and she had a lanyard with two rubber ducks on it. One of them had eyes that popped at you when you squeezed it. She was letting the kiddos squeeze it and Morgan LOVED it! She wanted to do it over and over, but did a very good job of letting the others have a turn also. One of the time she did it very close to her face and one of the eyeballs started to go up her nose, which she thought was hilarious!
Kenzie and Morgan were playing in and around the block shelf today
for about 20 minutes. Kenzie kept asking Morgan, "Do you want to go to
Fort Benton?" Morgan kept turning her down and saying she was going to
"stay home". Kenzie finally gave up and just informed Thomas that he
was "going to Fort Benton with me!" I am not sure if she learned from
asking Morgan or just figured she needed to take a more direct approach
with him since he was a male. : )
Kenzie and Morgan both wanted to jump two
different times today, which was great since it was too smokey to be
able to take them outside. (Ugh! We are tired of the smoke!) They
were doing some amazing gymnastic moves!
When Morgan spilled her hot cereal on her clothes at breakfast, Gary got out her spare clothes and put them on top of Joslyn's cubby while he was helping her get the old ones off. Morgan obviously missed that part because when he got them off of Joslyn's cubby and started to help her get them on, she was confused and asked "Joslyn letting me wear her clothes?" He told her what he had done and did get her convinced that they were actually her clothes, not Joslyn's. : )
