Morgan ate all of her oatmeal and prunes at breakfast. At lunch she ate bites of her biscuit and all of her mandarin oranges and hashbrown casserole.
Morgan brought a plate with play food on it over to me and I was "feeding" her. She loved it and was making munching sounds when I gave her bites. Emily and joslyn had to come over for me to give them bites to also and Morgan really liked that! It was so cute.
Gary came upstairs to get a new cold pack from the freezer this morning and told the kiddos "hi!" then went back downstairs. After he went down Morgie stood at the gate and yelled, "Ga---ry!, GA---RY!" It was really cute, but kind of sad too. : )
Morgan has been wanting up on either Coral or my lap any time that one of the other kiddos is on our lap or is heading over to get a love. She doesn't seem to want to miss out! She doesn't usually stay there long, just enough to know she is special too.
Morgan was excited to do sidewalk chalk (although she mainly took chalk out and put it back rather than coloring with it). She also loved chasing the bubbles Coral and Micala did with them while I set up lunch.

Morgan ate most of her french toast and about half of her cantaloup at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her squash, most of her dried mango bits and about half of both her turkey and her crescent roll.
Morgan watched intently as Bode and his big brother Tate (visiting for the day) built a big "ship" with the big interlocking blocks. She then watched as Tate took one block off and pretended to fill it up with gas then put it back on. Morgan decided that would be a good job for her, obviously because she started taking one off, pointing into the opening and saying "go-go-go" then put the block back on. It was really cute! The boys were great about letting her help! : )
Morgan found a truck (or "gruck" as she called it) that she really liked. She also found one of the little people clowns and decided that it should ride in the truck bed. She would drive (or fly) it around for a while and then bring it back over to us when he would fall out of it so we could put him back in. What was funny about that was that she could put him back in herself. She just wanted us to "help" her.
We moved the art table outside and finger painted all over it with bath foam today. Morgan absolutely loved that! She was the last one to want to be done and she had used up all of her bath foam (which I had re-supplied 3 times). She had it on her nose and cheek, but managed to keep it out of her eyes.
Thank you for sharing the note about Morgan's "Gary" art! That is so cute! Gary and I both got a kick out of that and could just imagine it! : )

Morgan ate all of her whole wheat toast and thirds on mixed berries at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her ham and tropical fruit and seconds on both bean soup and saltine crackers.
Morgan was feeding her baby for a while then she handed the doll to Coral and was feeding it while Coral held it. She also had Coral "help" her with the baby's clothes too. : ) She likes having Coral around!
Morgan made a very interesting contraption with the big legos this morning. Coral noticed that all of the pieces were red, white and blue, which we thought was cool. She is so intellengent that she even knows it is the 4th of July! : ) The same set of big legos has train pieces in it and Morgan also enjoyed pushing them around when she found some that one of the bigger kiddos put together. She hasn't quite figured out how to put them together on her own yet.
Morgan lost or took off her shoe. I told her to put it back on to get ready to go outside and she kind of tried for a little. I asked her if she needed help and she just looked at me. I then asked if she wanted me to help her and she just frowned at me. I then asked her if she wanted Coral to help her and she got all excited and almost yelled "Yeah!" : )

Morgan ate all of her blueberries and about half of her cinnamon raisin english muffin at breakfast. At lunch she ate seconds on potato salad, most of her saltines and all of her chicken and her canned cherries.
Morgan was being very funny this morning -- sticking her belly out and chuckling a lot of little things that I couldn't even tell what they were.
She had one pretty intense and long meltdown this morning when Gary separated her from Jadey, whom she was determined to try to pester and take toys from. That is the first one she has had for at least a week and a half. After she finished with the tantrum he had an excellent rest of the morning.
Morgan enjoyed coloring on Cypress' graduation banner at art today. When I had her color a mark on his graduation puppy, she wasn't so sure. She looked at me like she really thought she was doing something she wasn't supposed to. : )

Morgan ate seconds on roll and all of her peaches at breakfast. At lunch she ate all of her baked beans, about half of her broccoli and a couple bites of her roll (no pineapple).
Morgan had another great day today, with only one tantrum start, but stopped before it even really got going. Morgan was very busy and playing art with the kiddos, as well as just exploring on her own.
Morgan brought me over several duplo blocks to help her put together today. When I tried to help her and I must not have gotten it right because she really frowned at me then took it to Cypress for help. I tried something else with it and that wasn't right either. I finally just helped her hold it and let her put the pieces where she wanted them. That worked much better!
I took a bucket with some water in it outside today then I gave each of the kiddos a paint brush and let them "paint" the fence, little cars, teeter totters... Morgan was so thrilled she was almost beside herself. She really didn't do much painting, but she loved swishing her paintbrush around in the water, splashing herself and the rest of the kiddos. : )

Morgan ate all of her hashbrowns and thirds on waffle at breakfast. At lunch she ate most of her pepper, and about half of her orange slices, shrimp and brown rice.
Morgan did a bunch of duplo building. She loved it that Coral and Cypress had left up the awesome duplo buildings that they had created yesterday. When she saw them this morning, she looked and said, "Oh..." with her tummy all pooched out like she does. She then went over and took a bunch of it all apart.
Morgan came over to me and adamantly point at her hair until I asked her if she wanted me to put ponies in for her. Then she said, "YEAH!" very enthusiastically. She then raced over to where they were and waited for me to get get the stuff. She is so cute.
She had another awesome day! She is just a different kiddo than she was a couple weeks ago! I know that it is because of feeling better. I actually feel much less cranky myself now that I feel better too. : )
Morgan was a little upset about something and Coral asked if she wanted a love. She climbed right up on her lap and then snuggled against her for about 5 minutes. I got a picture if you want to see it. : )

Morgan ate all of her cheerios and banana at breakfast. At lunch she ate thirds on tomato soup and all of her sliced apples and her grilled cheese sandwich.
Isn't it funny how important routine is to Morgan? This morning she would NOT wave until I lifted her up to stand in the window sill like usual. As soon as I did she waved and blew kisses and all was well. She didn't fuss or anything when she was just standing on the step, but it still wasn't the same. : )
Morgan had another GREAT morning. I don't even think she had any tantrum starts! She was so busy playing, listened great and just had and was a lot of fun! She really is a fun little person to interact with and both Gary and I really enjoy her.
Morgan brought me lots of duplos to build with today. She didn't just want me to start them this time. She wanted me to add to it, adjust it and put each piece she brought to me on it. I tried to get her to help me put them on one of the times, but she would have nothing of that. She just dropped it and left.
Morgan was clapping her hands to day so I started chanting the "Patty Cake" rhyme and helping her do the motions. She loved it, especially the rolling and marking parts. After I quit doing it with her, she kept doing the rolling motion and saying "Roll...roll...roll..." She would also do the marking motion, but didn't say anything.
