Morgan ate all of her whole wheat toast and all of the blue berries out of her mixed berries at breakfast. At lunch she ate seconds on bean soup and all of her ham, saltine crackers and kiwi.
Morgan and Emily were thrilled with the little sipper cups to use with the dolls right from the beginning. The other kiddos like them also when they got here, but Morgan and Emily were the ones that were most into actually using them to feed their dolls.
Morgan was in Kenzie's line of attack for some reason this morning (unprovoked as far as I could tell) and ended up with a bite mark on her left forearm. We snuggled and put a cold cloth on it for a little and it actually faded pretty quickly, but if you see a mark, that is why. We are totally holding to a 0 tolerance biting and other overly aggressive policy from here on out. We immediately told Kenzie that biting hurt our friends and we are NOT going to hurt our friends. We moved her to the back room to take a break for about 5 minutes. I am sincerely hoping this connects with her and helps her learn to self-regulate a little better. She doesn't like being away from her friends, so I am hoping it will have an effect.
Morgan played with the duplos quite a bit today. She filled one whole duplo "plate" (or foundation piece) and had one duplo left over. She said, " Morgan and Emily were thrilled with the little sipper cups to use with the dolls right from the beginning. The other kiddos like them also when they got oh! oh! Where's this one gonna go? Let's see..." and started experimenting with different spots.
